WORKSHOPS
Some regular workshops I run include the following, however, I can tailor any other under your company’s needs and requirements.
CROSS-CULTURAL DIFFERENCES AND RELATIONS
Culture is a crucial component in business and impacts its strategic direction. The workshop makes the participants familiar with the norms, values, activities, beliefs, habits, rituals, attitudes, and traditional behaviour of different nationalities coworking in one place.
BUSINESS ETIQUETTE AND WORKPLACE MANNERS
Perhaps all business environments strive for a harmonious workplace which might increase productivity on the one hand and positive relationships among employees and employers with employees on the other. This workshop aims at building and improving successful professional relationships via a closer look at communication etiquette, meal etiquette, meeting etiquette, electronic and phone communication and workplace etiquette simultaneously.
KILLING PROCRASTINATION
The workshop will teach attendees why we procrastinate and how to manage and overcome this phenomenon to save precious time.
CONFORMITY AND ITS BUSINESS INFLUENCE
When individuals change their behaviour to go along with the group even if they disagree with others, we speak of conformity. In the workshop, participants discover why conformity does not necessarily mean good teamwork, how it influences group behaviour, how it can be good and bad for society, etc.
LIFE WITHOUT DEFENSIVENESS IN A WORKPLACE
People usually behave defensively when they anticipate or perceive a threat in their environment. However, reasons for being defensive vary from emotional, mental and personality factors as well as situational behavioural responses. There are different categories of these behaviours, and the workshop will not only lead you through them but will provide you with the tips and steps to both avoid defensiveness and deal with it if it occurs in the workplace.
EFFECTIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT
The workshop provides participants with a closer look at adapting and coping with stress. We will highlight our current understanding of the phenomenon, including its psychological and physiological natures, its causes and consequences, and the steps to master stress rather than become its victim. Participants will roleplay a “fight or fligh” response to a stressor, and they will eventually find out not all stress is harmful.
NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION SIGNS - HOW TO READ THEM ACROSS NATIONS
Different cultures have different interpretations of body language. There are various nonverbal cues to which people working in a multinational environment should pay attention. The workshop provides attendees with many different gestures, postures, movements, etc., with unique interpretations across nations and countries. N
COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ACTIVE LISTENINGS
Active listening is a soft skill employers hold in high regard. Active listening undoubtedly improves your communication skills by summarising and repeating slightly different words with the same meaning as your counterpart uses. Accompanied by carefully observing body language, we can give others an extra level of understanding, resulting in a more harmonious working environment. Participants will practice the art of active listening based on their received theoretical knowledge at the workshop
MILLENIALS IN THE WORKPLACE
Since Millennials make up the majority of today's workforce, this is a phenomenon and highly debated topic among employers worldwide. It is not so easy to understand millennials' behaviour, attitude, motivations and other factors contributing to their company engagement. The workshop highlights the reasons for these employees' low involvement and high turnover and what employers can do to prevent it. IWO
